Hi Everyone!  Sorry for the lack of posts the past few days.  I’ve been having a hard time deciding if I wanted to make this post public or not.  A part of me really wants to share all aspects of life, and another part wants to just be a place of positivity and happiness.   Continue Reading…

I am a big fan of doing something instead of getting something as a gift.  Regardless of the occasion, I always feel like getting to experience something new is a lot more exciting than just getting more stuff, and getting to share that experience with those you love is even better.   Continue Reading…

My Current Morning Routine

Morning Routine Featured

I am a big fan of having a morning routine.  I don’t think there is any better way to get your day started then to have a routine set of events to get a productive start to your morning.  I have always been a big planner, from the time I was in elementary school and got my first agenda to plan out my homework assignments I was hooked, and I have recently heard a lot about the importance of having a morning “ritual” and how much it contributes to being successful in the rest of your life.  Knowing how much better I feel about myself and how much more I am ready to take on the day when I’ve had a great start to the day makes me a firm believer.  This is what my morning ritual looks like: Continue Reading…

I am a sucker for a good liquid lipstick.  You don’t have to worry about them melting in your purse, and right now they are so popular that you can find just about every color imaginable.  I started my venture into the liquid lipstick world with the Stila Stay All Day line, and they quickly got me hooked.

Current Must Have Music Featured

I don’t know about you, but I love music.  From pop to country to gospel to classical to rap; I’m an equal opportunity music listener.  And with the invention of Apple Music, I can now access all the music I want at any time to my hearts delight.  I do tend to go in phases of the types of music I am playing the most at the time, and right now these are my current obsessions! Sabbath Sunday #1

Sabbath Sunday 1 Featured

Sabbath.  It is a topic I have recently become very interested in and passionate about.  Growing up, I based the majority of my Christian “walk” on the 10 Commandments.  I always knew I believed in God, I believed in Jesus, but looking back I realize just how much I didn’t know about what being a Christian is really about (if you want, read my testimony here!).   Continue Reading…

January Book List

January Books Featured

Growing up, I was a voracious reader.  I always had a book with me, and you would often find me tucked away somewhere with my nose between the pages of my latest find.  As I grew, I found myself having less and less time for reading for enjoyments sake, but my love of books never faded.  At the beginning of this year, I decided in 2016 I wanted to make sure I intentionally set apart time each day to read, just for the love of reading.   Continue Reading…

Ponce City Market

This past weekend while in Atlanta, we decided to stop by the Ponce City Market since we were already in the area.  We had heard about it, but having never been we weren’t quite sure what it was all about!  The building is big not only in size, but also in history.  Originally opened in 1926 as a Sears, it is one of the largest buildings in the Southeast United States, and the history of the building is everywhere you look.   Continue Reading…

Cheaha State Park – Alabama

February 2, 2016

On a whim, yesterday we decided to take a quick trip into Alabama to visit Cheaha State Park, home to the highest peak in Alabama.  The park is small, but makes the perfect day trip with its beautiful views and easy walking.  Just make sure you bring a jacket, because it does get windy!  The park has two main areas, Bald Rock and Pulpit Rock.   Continue Reading…
